EDUCATION
Mr. Khoury is a Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology - Texas A&M University, 1974.
Mr. Khoury received a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law, 1977.
Mr. Khoury and Robert Kelsoe won the Baylor Practice Court Trial Competition in 1977 - where Mr. Khoury received the Outstanding Advocate Award and Best Speaker Honors in that competition.
Mr. Khoury is a trial lawyer. He has litigated lawsuits for over 42 years and has tried over 100 jury trials to verdict. At the beginning of his career, Mr. Khoury prosecuted white collar crime cases as a Chief Felony prosecutor for the Specialized Crime Division of Henry Wade’s District Attorney’s office in Dallas.
His private practice of over 38 years has always involved extensive litigation for businesses and business interests, real estate, partnership disputes and commercial matters. As a consequence of this experience, Mr. Khoury has a keen sense and competence in business matters.
Mr. Khoury can quickly identify business issues and efficiently guide his clients to a beneficial conclusion. Sometimes that means needing a hardened, experienced negotiator to settle your case. Other times that means needing an aggressive seasoned trial lawyer – who is not afraid to go to trial – to staunchly represent your interests to conclusion at the courthouse. In either case, clients benefit from having Mr. Khoury at their side.
As a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Mr. Khoury currently serves as President of the Dallas Chapter and also serves on its Executive Committee.
